activity.

i am a full-time student and part-timer. i also run activities in a lot of video games as well as an rp group on discord, so i tend to be busy very often. my activity ranges from super-active to fall off the face of the earth. but you can always add me on discord to rp or talk!

NSFW.

i will only RP NSFW with my friends. meaning i’m pretty picky who i will write such things with. please know this is nothing against you, just a comfort thing

interactions.

i don’t rp with non-mutuals. this includes ask memes. do not push me to write with you if we are not mutuals. if you do, there is a high risk you will be blocked. i also enjoy rping with other fandoms and making new verses!

shipping.

i only ship with one version of a character. i am multi-ship for now, but i will be exclusive romantic-wise to that one version of the muse.

relations.

i do pre-determined relationships! i actually sometimes prefer them as they help skip the awkward first meeting and helps us get to develop their relationship even further! just talk to me about this!

tags.

i ask that you please tag injections/shots/ivs. basically, anything that could be considered trypanophobia. you don’t need to tag writings of it but if you could please tag any pictures that have it, i would be so grateful. tag it with either as #injections, #needles, #trypanophobia.

background.

Yomi was born in South Korea where she spent most of her childhood living with both her mother and father. While she believed them to be in a happy relationship, she was young and naïve, only to have that idea shattered when they divorced. At the age of 5, her father earned custody of her, moving her back to his home in Japan with him. It was back home that he returned to being involved in the Holy Church, something he had once dedicated his whole life to as a former executor-in-training. When he could not stomach the job, he had left to have a family – he now looked at his daughter to do what he could not, become an executor.

And so began her journey towards her father’s wish for her. From a young age, she was trained to become mankind’s weapon, to rid to earth of heretical beings. It was harsh training for a child to deal with – her only solace being found in reading any book she was allowed to get her hand on. Besides the brutal training she had to endure from her trainers, she also had to deal with her father’s own special training. His abuse towards her always being explained to her with God’s will – the pain, the lose of innocence, the numbness – it was all God’s will for her. And who was she to defy God himself? After many harsh years, at the age of 12, Yomi was officially chosen to be an executor for the Holy Church and began her many missions to follow out her purpose. This was for God, for the good of the world – and with that mindset she willingly followed her orders blindly.

This was all she knew. All there was – or was it?

Perhaps it was simply having to kill heretics for so long that made her incredibly curious about them. It started out as innocent curiosity, simply taking books and journals from her missions to read in secret at home, but it soon grew into something more. Soon her nightly rituals included the secret practice of magecraft. Her father has his suspicions, raiding his daughter’s room while she was out to find all her hidden treasures and learning of her new hobby.

Upon learning about his daughter’s true heretical nature, her father punished her as he saw fit. She was a monster. A heretic. A demon. And she was treated as such by him. While he wished to turn her in to the church, his pride did not let him do so. He had failed in being an executor himself and would not let her be a failure as well. He had decided to take measure into his own hands to cure her of her heretical nature. Despite the various punishments and even attempted exorcisms, she kept learning magecraft whenever she could, strengthening her skills as best as she could. Her drive to learn more was all that kept her going, growing numb to the things done against her and making her even colder to the world.

This was her life until graduating from high school, where she left the church to attend university. While she lived in an apartment near the school, it wasn’t as far from home as she wished. Frequent visits from her father and other church members left her feeling just as much of a monster as she had her whole life. Before she knew it, she had stopped running, giving up and letting herself accept whatever came her way – until she saw an advertisement for mages needed at Chaldea. Seeing this as her last chance to escape this endless cycle, she applied and to her relief got hired.

Becoming one of the survivors of the events in Chaldea, she works alongside Ritsuka Fujimaru and others to help save humanity.

background.

while born in inazuma, yomi does not remember most of her childhood there. at a young age, her father became quite obsessed with the abyss and it’s power after encountering an abyss mage. for years, it was all he could think of, even going so far as leaving his work to pursue his obsession. her strongest memories of her home was their house quickly filling with all and anything that could link to the abyss.

running from the land, her father took yomi out into the wilderness as his journey for a way into the abyss itself. it did not take too long to find it and he entered with no hesitation, bringing along his daughter. there he wandered the abyss until coming across the abyss order. he himself was far too old to master all they had to offer, his daughter was not.

and thus, yomi’s training began. though, he wished for his daughter’s powers to be kept only for himself. carefully, he watched the order and mimicked as much as he could in their training to teach yomi. her training was vigorous, unrelenting, and cruel. any attempt to resist was met with whatever punishment he felt was right at the time. freewill was gone and a monster, a weapon emerged in its place. it only took a couple of years of this makeshift training for her to get a good grip on how to navigate the abyss and fight just as well as the order. when he knew there was no longer anything he could teach her just from watching, he offered his makeshift weapon.

he did all he could to convince them, though failed in all his attempts. while he was not training himself as he was his daughter, his time in the abyss had also taken a toll on him. he was arrogant and craved to carve his weapon a sharper blade, to make her stronger than he ever imagined. after years in the dark, yomi once more emerged into the light, no longer an innocent girl, but simply a tool for her father. and this blade was sharpened, throwing her into battle after battle. yomi herself, was locked into herself, giving up her will to fight him long ago. day by day, night by night, her soul got stained with blood more and more. but her father was happy, which meant her life was easier. after one battle, while her father looted the bodies left in her wake, she spotted a dull and lifeless vision. secretly, she kept it with her. perhaps it was a trophy or something she could use to remember that these were people. she wasn’t sure why she had taken it… but she stuffed it into her bag, keeping it with her as a keepsake.

one day in the midst of combat, her father got in the way of her blade, injuring him slightly. this scared him, as he never got injured in these fights. that was what his daughter- his monster was for. calling out to yomi, they retreated into a nearby cave. as always, she did what she was told and began to patch him up. though, the sight of her father hurt and his blood on her hands made something snap in her. was this a sight of freedom? something she had lost long ago? her breathing stopped for just a second, staring at him. her normally steady breath became ridgid, scrambling to her feet and stepping back from him.

he was screaming at her to help it at this point, she knew he was. she could see it, but no sound reached her ears.for the first time in years, a smile appeared on her face and a small snicker could be heard. was it always this simple? was freedom always right there? if her father was no more, there was no more control over her. perhaps the monster could be put to rest then. a loud laugh echoed through the cave, her hand reaching for her blade. was this her laugh? or was this the abyss’ laugh? she wasn’t sure. but, she was sure of how to kill the monster’s tamer and let it free.

and like that, yomi was freed from her father. her laugh echoed long after his breath had stopped. finally catching her breath, it felt like her senses had come back to her and her smile turned into a face of horror at the sight of the mess she had made. the monster’s tamer was dead, but not the monster. now, she was just a monster without a leash. and what do pets do when let off the leash? they run. and yomi ran. she ran as far away as she could from the cave. running for what felt like days, she ended up in liyue. checking into an inn, she finally rested her feet and caught her breath.

while getting her change of clothes in her bag, she noticed the glow of the vision she had once stolen. unlike it’s previous owner, it was bright and full of life. she knew this meant the archon had given her a chance to become something new, though she did not have as much faith in herself. clutching the vision, she laid down and cried for the first time in what felt like 10 years.

now, yomi works in a small bookshop in liyue. due to her questionable actions of the past, she prefers to keep a low profile. during her free time, she spent the time working on combat with her new found powers. occasionally she will pick up an odd job with the adventurer’s to help out or to make some extra mora.

yomi was born in korea where she spent a good chunk of her childhood. at the age of seven, her parents got a divorce. it wasn't messy in the slightest, her mother deciding to let her go with her father back to japan to grow up and go to school. moving was stressful, but the young yomi was easy to adjust. the next three years were peaceful, the most normal years she would have.
( there is tw from here on for csa, religious trauma, and abuse. i will be vague but just a warning. )
at the age of ten, her father got heavily involved with a local church. the next few years of her life with him were the worst years of her life, leading to her mental health declining severely. her abuse ended up becoming a normal part of her everyday life and her emotions became numb. to her this was normal and how life was supposed to go.
it wasn't until she was older that her numbness decided to leave her and her desire to get away from her father grew. her small college in her town was too close for her to warrant moving out, so she broadened her search until she found one far enough away. she now works as a bookstore attendant part-time while working on her degree.

background.

early life. yomi dalamiq was born into the dalamiq tribe at the peak of their worship of the lesser moon, dalamud. inside the tribe was a group of fanatics, including her father, the head priest. shortly after her birth, her father was sure had a prophetic dream that yomi would become one of if not the strongest black mages in the steppe. due to this dream, her training was started at a very young age on top of her religious training.

other than normal black mage training, yomi had to become an expert in their sacrificial and summoning rituals. this training eventually led to her getting her tattoos on her back which linked her to the void. this made summoning voidsents easier for her as well as assisting her in siphoning aether off of other living beings. in turn, she used her link to the void as a source to strengthen her sorcery. with not only her father but the fanatics in her tribe having such high expectations for her, any mistake was severely punished and any achievement was seen merely as a step in her journey to be the best. blinded by her faith, she stayed and pushed despite their treatment, seeing it as rightfully deserved.

most of her life was spent training and learning. once she was a teenager, her father began to bring him with her to witness nadaam. over the years gaining an odd acquaintance with a oronir warrior while there. this being her only link to the steppe outside of her tribe.

when the falling of dalamud became more clear to them, the more fanatical believers in her tribe began to do more things to appease the coming of the hound of the greater moon. people who once only sacrificed animals and livestock began sacrificing other people, first starting with lost and tribeless au ra before eventually turning to some of their own believing that would appease him even more. so deep in her faith, yomi was a willing participant, sometimes even leading the ceremonies.

post-calamity. once the fall of the lesser moon occurred and the information of it being a prison for the primal bahamut came to light, yomi’s fellow followers and herself were furious. believing that the heretics of the world caused the failure of the return of their deity. their extremist measures did not slow, keeping a steady pace careful to not bring attention to themselves. voidsents were often summoned and released as punishment to the heretics as well.

though, as time went on yomi’s faith began to waver. it was a slow fall from her faith, too stubborn to let go of what she wanted to desperately to keep believing in. it was her life and shaped her worldview. to simply shun it all, accept it was all but her blindly putting her all into a faith worshiping a manmade prison was too much for her to bear. but, as she subconsciously began to lose more and more faith, the abuse she had endured and still was enduring became more clear. the once complacent, obedient yomi dalamiq had the mind to leave to try to get out, but she quickly shoved that thought to the side. it would be too hard and she had nowhere to go.

her decision to leave was once again in her brain when the oronir warrior spoke to her about wanting to leave, to get out. at the time, she thought nothing of it. until the next year at nadaam, when he was nowhere to be found. if he could leave, so could she and for the next year she secretly planned for her own escape. stashing away money, stealing maps of the world outside of the steppe… anything she could think of that would help. and in the middle of the night, she fleed and began her trip to kugane.

her time in kugane was most likely the shortest year of her life. once there she took up the surname of akiyama, dropping the name of her tribe in order to separate herself from them as best as she could. that year was spent working in a small bookshop, earning money to sail to ul’dah where she had heard of a thaumaturgy guild. not only was she curious of their takes on black magic, but kugane was still too close to the steppe and the suffocating feeling she had would not be gone until she was as far as possible.

arr and onward. upon her arrival in ul’dah, her journey as an adventurer began as favors were asked of her. while looking for fellow adventurers to aid her, momodi pointed her in the direction of a warrior keeper of the moon. while an inebriated keeper of the moon wasn’t her ideal tank for her party, she inevitably drags yaza’tan xhamir into satasha. after that, the two constantly crossed paths, eventually deciding to travel together. after many battles and trials, the two were deemed warriors of light. together, they continue on their journey as the warriors of light.
